![]() In the process they took out what I considered a minor yet immersive ability to walk slow, progressively speeding up while using a gamepad, RPing/soaking up the atmosphere. ![]() It was a nice gesture from CDPR for those who struggled & disliked the vanilla movement but, at least they gave the option to switch back and forth between the two. This reminds me of the removal of the "slow walk" functionality that was taking out for (AFAIK) absolutely no reason when they introduced the alt. The Level 2 upgrade, however, reduces the Stamina drain by 50, allowing Geralt to keep the shield active for. It would be great if CDPR gave us the option to switch between the two menu styles. Level 1 of this Alternate Sign gives Geralt the ability to maintain the Active Shield. I've since gotten used to the new radial menu, although I still think it's a bit too obtrusive/large. My initial hope when seeing that option was that it would revert back to the smaller, original radial menu when set to off. I've found no difference so whatever between setting it to on or off.
